CURRICULUM HIGHLIGHTS

Ultrasound Fundamentals: Grasp the essential physics behind ultrasound imaging and master machine operation and probe manipulation.

EFAST: Learn to rapidly assess for intra-abdominal bleeding in trauma patients.

Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm: Learn how to confidently scan the aorta to screen for AAA.

Acute Biliary Pathology: Learn techniques for scanning the gallbladder and diagnosing acute cholecystitis and cholelithiasis.

Renal:  Learn techniques for scanning the renal system and diagnosing Hydronephriosis.

Soft tissue:  Learn to differentiate cellulitis from drainable abscess quickly and easily.

Procedural Guidance: Gain practical experience in ultrasound-guided cannulation, vascular access and abscess drainage.

By the end of the course, participants will be confident in integrating ultrasound findings into clinical decision-making.
