A systematic review of the fundamental principles in Emergency X-Ray interpretation.

The ability to interpret diagnostic images has become essential in handling emergency situations and making confident decisions.

This course provides a systematic review of the fundamental principles in emergency X-Ray interpretation.

The goal of the course is to provide practitioners with the knowledge and confidence to recognise radiographic patterns of trauma and injury commonly encountered for the pelvis, upper & lower limbs.  Interactive multimedia live group sessions are undertaken with lectures.

Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy: 8 hours in Formal Education

Australian College of Rural & Remote Medicine: Approved for 8 CPD hours; Education activity.

Australian & New Zealand College of Anaesthetists: Participants of the ANZCA and FPM CPD program may claim time under the Knowledge and skills ‘Short format learning’ activity for short course, workshops, problem-based learning discussions and small group discussion.  Online learning can be claimed under the Knowledge and skills ‘Learning sessions’ activity.

Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists:  A Message for RANZCR members: RANZCR is currently developing a process for external organisations to request recognition of a CPD activity. An Accreditation of Events process will replace the current CPD hour allocation letter. This process is still pending. However, you can still claim your CPD hours for this course by logging into your portfolio, lodging the course hours (8.5) and uploading your certificate post course.
